Hello and welcome to my Blog!
My name is Monique and I’ve started this blog in January 2016 under a different name when I moved to England. Back then I was writing about London and how it is to live abroad but now my priorities have changed so this blog got a new design. At first I was blogging about moving to England and being an au pair but it quickly moved towards blogging about veganism.
Being honest with you, recently I have been feeling all over the place. Moving to Germany in August 2020 has been an amazing decision, I adore our house, living close to the water and the people I got to meet. But I have also never felt so stressed, anxious and worried before.
My mental health got worse and worse until I felt paralised by worry and stress. So I have made the decision to change some things. The one big thing I want to do now: Document my journey. Reading about other people’s mental health has helped me so so much and it made me feel not alone. This is what this blog is for.
I hope to be able to inspire you to be more honest to yourself so you can take care of you! Sounds so simple but I know very well that it is not that easy..
